About PK
Many wonder what PK stands for and how this company got its name.
PK is short for Possum Kingdom Lake, the Great Lake of Texas, and is deeply rooted in history.
It is formed along the Brazos River in North Texas and was once the home of the Costello family, the original ancestors of what is still called Costello Island on the lake.
Our owner, Matt, is a descendant of the Costello family. His paternal grandmother was the last known living Costello family member and his full legal name comes from one of the original landowners of what this great lake now calls home.
PK is a special place. It’s home.
